British artist Antony Gormley, studies the relationship of the human body with the space that surrounds it, through sculpture and installations.

An artistic research that seeks to involve the public in a journey of memory and transformation, in fact, is impossible to remain indifferent in front of  his works, thank to their strong emotional impact and the stylistic originality.

The artist uses his own body as a source of exploration of movement and volume in space, without making his creations, however, autobiographical, he is in fact not recognizable because the result of simple shapes.

His last works became a real puzzle of the human figure, thanks to use of tetrahedrons, cubes, polygons, dodecagons, and different materials, that give their a different three-dimensionality and a whole new depth.

They are works become known in the United Kingdom, with personal and collective exhibitions, through which he has received many prizes and awards obtaining fame in all the world.

The artist is now engaged in a new artistic collaboration with the composer and Israeli choreographer, Hofesh Shechter, showing how different art forms can coexist and interact with public involvement at the sound and visual excitement.

"Survivor" is now on stage at the Barbican Centre in London.
